The origin of the business date back to 1924, when Giovanni Battista Donda moved from Scodovacca di Cervignano and, along with his family, settled down in Aquileia, where he pourchased 13 hectares of surrounding woodland, characterised by trees such as poplars, mulberries and alders, and a long-type climate. In the following decades, his son Bruno continued the work by dedicating himself passionately to the cultivation of the vines and the production of fine wines. Three generations of wine- makers; Giovanni Battista, his son Bruno who, along with his new famiily, continued the work with expertise; and, in recent years, his grandson "Gianni", the new owner.
